Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential Training:
- You can earn an Employer Recognized Credential in Early Childhood Education.
- Free eight-month training with in-classroom work experience in CAPRW Head Start centers.
- We provide a paid training service of 140 hours and 500 hours of classroom experience.
- All participants receive a FREE LAPTOP with INTERNET and GIFT CARDS!
- Post-training job placement assistance.
- Graduates can earn up to $15 - $18 per hour plus benefits after successfully earning the credential!
Eligibility Requirements
- Live in Ramsey or Washington County and be income eligible.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Be able to pass a Minnesota DHS background study.
- Be willing and able to participate full-time in training, both YWCA instructor led lessons and Head Start classroom work experience, for entire eight-month period.
